The 40w RMS handling gives these 5x7s a clean punch even with the windows down. Installed them in my classic car and the dual voice coils really opened up the soundstage compared to the old single-coil speakers.

Installed these in my old truck’s doors to replace blown originals, and the dual voice coil gives a really wide soundstage—way better separation than I expected from a single speaker. The 40w RMS handles plenty of volume without distortion, even at highway speeds.
