A229 PRO TELE 2CH DASHCAM

2-Channel 4K and 2K 4x Optical Zoom Dash Cam

Equipped with cutting-edge dual cameras powered by Sony’s latest STARVIS 2 technology, A229 Pro Tele delivers unmatched front recording in both 4K wide-angle and 2K telephoto views. Not only wide, but also farther — the 4x optical zoom telephoto camera captures distant details with clarity, perfect for reading license plates from afar.

IMX678 & IMX675 Sensors

A229 Pro Tele is the industry's first dashcam using two flagship Sony STARVIS 2 image sensors, for both two cameras. The two sensors, namely the IMX678 and IMX675, offer wider dynamic range and higher light sensitivity than the STARVIS tech, bringing much less noise and motion blur during day & night recording.

4K Ultra HD Front Recording

The front camera records in remarkable 4K with Sony STARVIS 2 1/1.8'' 8MP image sensor that packs in more pixels for greater clarity and detail. It captures license plates and more details with exceptional clarity day and night, even in high-speed driving.

2K Video, 4x Optical Zoom

The telephoto camera features a 4X optical zoom to clearly capture distant details like license plates and road sceneries. It delivers sharp 2K videos with no distortion, making it easy to share stunning moments from your journey. It can complement the wide-angle front cam by providing additional perspectives, offering a comprehensive view of the road.

Best Dashcam for Capturing License Plates

A229 Pro Tele is a perfect solution for license plate capture. Featuring a 4x optical telephoto cam, it brings distant vehicles into sharp focus — ideal for reading plates from afar. Powered by Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, it excels in low-light conditions, ensuring clear plate capture even at night or in fast-moving traffic.

2-Channel HDR

A229 Pro Tele is outstanding in a wide range of lighting conditions, by virtue of Sony STARVIS 2 sensors. The flagship sensors, coupled with advanced HDR technology, balance extremely bright and dark areas to accurately restore 4K & 2K details recorded at night, even capture accurate license details in fast move.

Ultra Fast 5GHz Wi-Fi

An upgraded 5GHz Wi-Fi connection module is built into A229 Pro Tele to provide much faster Wi-Fi data transfer, ensuring smooth video previewing, downloading and sharing.

USB 2.0 Port - Super Fast Video Downloads to Phone Directly

The dashcam supports seamless connectivity to your smartphone via a USB2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable, enabling superfast downloads of photos and videos. Specifically, the download speed is up to 20MB/s on iPhone 16. This direct connection also facilitates effortless firmware updates, ensuring access to the latest features and optimal performance.

Smart Voice Control & Notification

A229 Pro Tele comes with an advanced voice control feature, which allows you to start recording, take photos, and turn on/off WiFi with simple spoken commands in multiple languages (English/Chinese/Russian/Japanese). It can also clearly notify you of settings changes or memory card errors, keeping you fully focused on the road.
